Celebrating Roots: Archana Puran Singh and Family at Ancestral House”
Archana Puran Singh at her ancestral house celebrating roots in Dehradun with her whole family with her husband Parmeet Sethi, Her mother Satyabala, Her two sons Aaryaman and Ayushman and her future daughter in law Yogita Bihani.
Everyone in a visit to Dehradun where Archana Puran Singh recalls her child days memories, Aapka parivar along with her sister Kalpana are also visiting the place and her brother Sandep and wife Seema is staying there and taking care of the place. All the family members excited to see their Nani’s house. Archana’ s father Choudhury Puran Singh was a famous Lawer those days and popular there, and he calls Parmeet as White Rabbit as he is very fair.These house is made up of about 75 years ago and her brother do the restoration of the house and made a library where there was the chamber of her father. Her father collects the unique archetectural things even from Kashmir and decorate their house. Archana describes how beautifully her father collects all the decorative pieces from different parts of India. Her brother celebrating roots by saving the things from years.
Archana visits thee places very often but due to shooting this time she came after a little gap. Parmeet tries his silly jokes like how Dehradun name comes.
They have seen a tree of about 5th generation age. In celebrating roots, they visited the school which her father established those days ,the school is now there educating a lot of students and give recent optional studies like learning of Podcast class , cooking class , singing class, painting etc. Students of the school serves them the food they cooked themselves, since Archana vegetarian she enjoys the veg and Parmeet taste the egg one. The school is the dream of her father to educate the students free of cost. The house near it almost 150 years ,they keep Sai baba to save the place.
Her mother Satyabala got emotional and remembers her days with her husband and in laws, everyone was passed by. They visit to their village and Archana shows her paternal land where she wanted to make a house after her retirement.
Then they have their deshi lunch Makkai ki roti and sarson da saag with home made chutney and ghee, finally Parmeet throw his Chirag joke which makes everyone laugh.
