Ahana brigns her sister-in-law back home.
In the serial Dungal TV telecasts serial Bade ghar ki chhoti bohu Ahana, the youngest daughter-in-law and a lead role of the serial is came to know that they have a sister-in-law named Shakuntala who was not accepted by her family due to her disobedience by marrying a guy of her own choice, but when they got to know that her husband was no more and her family-in-law members were torturing her and blaming her for the death of her partner. This news broke Ahana and her elder sisters-in-law and they all decided to bring her sister-in-law back home.
Inspite of the objections of Durga Devi (the head of the family) they denied and decided to visit their sister-in-law’s house and saw her. All the daughters-in-law along with Durga devi’s nephew Tukun visited to Shakuntala’s house, but the situation was worse there as all the family members of Shakuntala were scolding her and blamed her for the death of her husband and giving rude words to her family members asking why didn’t they visit before and gave any kind of help to them? And why they came here now.
Ahana gave replies to their harsh words and warned them not to say such words to Didibhai ( her sister-in-law), but they still insulted her and denied to pay for her food bills and told them to take her back to her house. But still Ahana fights for the right of Didibhai and said she had all the rights to stay there and had rights on their properties even though she made her sister-in-law back home.
But Shakuntala a pride and self esteemed girl denied to come with them and asked her mother-in-law to keep her as a servant of the family but still her mother-in-law was not kind to her and told her if she left the house she had no rights on the properties of her in-laws. But Ahana fought against it and brought her sister-in-law back home.
As all expected Ahana’s family members were shocked by seeing shakuntala back home, they were arguing with Durga Devi how she disobeyed her husbands decision of not going to her daughter’s house, after she took such a bad decision of marrying an unknown guy of her choice and deceived them and how Ahana dared to took such a big step of visiting Shakuntala’s house without elders permission. But when they saw Ahana brought Shakuntala back home, they all burst with fury.
Durga Devi as her own mother still asked Shakuntala why she left her in-law’s house and came here, Shakuntala tried to explain but Ahana defended her and explained the whole situation there, even Tukun’s request of giving expenses of Shakuntala’s living didn’t work. So they were forced to bring her sister-in-law back home. By the support of everyone there Ahana was able to take such a step, Badi didi exclaimed and brought her sister-in-law back home.
After hearing this Durga Devi allowed Shakuntala to stay here but she was not allowed to call Durga mother.
But still Pisimuni and her sister-in-law did not accept it happily. Pisimuni continued her harsh words towards Shakuntala and listed the hard traditions which she had to follow during these periods. After finishing her husband’s funeral she had to go back to her house, Ahana protested against it but Durga Devi supported Pisimuni’s decision and said she had to be back to her in-laws after the funeral was over.
